EdTechSheff

Notre Dame High School and King Ecgbert School are Sheffield’s EdTech Demonstrator Schools who work together under the name EdTechSheff.

Now going into its 2nd year, the programme is moving from principally supporting remote learning during the pandemic to a programme that supports Covid recovery and strategic school improvement through implementation of Education Technology.

Subject to imminent confirmation of funding from the DfE, we are seeking to recruit a team of EdTech Specialists to work flexibly to support a caseload of schools who have signed up to access DfE funded support.

Multiple roles available based on a 0.2FTE contract with a fixed grant of £13500 per annum (April 2021 – March 2022). Smaller or larger contracts will be considered.

Closing date: Friday 23rd April 2021.

For full details, click on the document below.

Appointees would not be employed by EdTechSheff directly – payment would be made to schools to release staff as per a contractual agreement, or via invoice for a self-employed appointee.

To apply, please send your current CV and a covering letter expressing which theme or themes you would like to be a specialist in, how your experience prepares you for the role and the amount of time you can commit to the role. Start dates are as soon as possible but it might be schools cannot fully release staff until late summer term or September, which likely will match the time to scale up the project.

Applications should be sent to Helen Boddie (Project Manager) via email to hboddie@ecgbert.sheffield.sch.uk  by Friday 23rd April 2021.
