We are thrilled to announce that two of our primary schools, Anns Grove Primary and Totley Primary, have signed up for a ground-breaking initiative aimed at nurturing career-related learning in primary education!

Sheffield has been chosen to participate in the innovative pilot program called "Start Small; Dream Big." This national initiative, funded by the The Careers & Enterprise Company and supported by the Department for Education, aims to enrich primary school education by integrating career-focused learning into the curriculum.

The pilot program will be locally delivered by the South Yorkshire Careers Hub and See It Be It in Sheffield. This collaboration seeks to empower primary schools in Sheffield to provide high-quality career-related learning experiences for their students.

By signing up for this free programme, our schools will:
✔ Receive comprehensive online CPD courses facilitated by Teach First
✔ Receive guidance and support in planning and implementing meaningful employer encounters
✔ Become part of a vibrant community of practice dedicated to enhancing career-related learning in primary education
✔ Gain access to a wealth of free resources from Teach First and CEC's primary platform
