KES Gold

King Ecgbert School celebrates 50 years and beyond.

It’s 50 years since King Ecgbert School opened as a fully comprehensive school in 1969. To celebrate this landmark year in the school's history, KES Gold is coming to King Ecgbert on Wednesday 20th November.

The purpose of the event will be to reconnect with our former students, and remind them what ‘KESness’ means!

The morning will comprise of:

  • A welcome address from the headteacher, Mr Haigh, potentially followed by further speeches
  • Time to network, chat with students and staff, looking at displays
  • Tour of the school
  • Refreshments

The event is open to any former student of King Ecgbert School, and marks the beginning of the school's intention to reconnect with Alumni members;  bringing them into school for careers events, support and events in the future.
