Experience

Headteacher at Woodlands Primary School since January 2021.

Lauren has extensive experience working in a range of schools, particularly in areas of deprivation. She brings knowledge of attachment theory, play therapy and behaviour management, alongside outstanding teaching and learning and curriculum knowledge. With a degree and BTEC qualifications in music performance, she has a wide range of qualifications to support all children she works with. 

Strengths

Her greatest achievement so far has been creating a nurture provision resulting in becoming a recognised establishment for looked after children within the local authority.
