Nether Edge Primary is a 3-11 primary school with approximately 480 pupils. It formed our original multi-academy trust partnership in 2015. The school was judged to be outstanding in all areas in their last inspection in 2025.
The school is located in a vibrant and multicultural community and is a key feeder to King Ecgbert School and Mercia School. It has been high performing for several years and, as a result, is over-subscribed.
In 2026, Nether Edge Primary School was designated as one of 36 Early Years Stronger Practice Hubs nationally.
Working closely with local partner settings and supported by Mercia Learning Trust, the hub supports early years practitioners and settings across Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham to improve practice and outcomes for young children. Find out more here.
